The posings of a poet.

Bottles

Fanta, any colour...

We are all bottles for inside we contain
a message to the world elegant or plain
do not miss your chance for it will cause you pain
release what you have my friend, it will keep us sane

You know what I mean you can’t get it off your brain
it’s that one thing in your mind set in like a stain
a lesson you have learned or idea you would fain
have others know no matter how you’d have to strain

To pass it on and make it glow, rainbow after rain
you’d even make a banner and learn to fly a plane
if you were a carpenter you’d go against the grain
if you were a plumber you’d not send it down the drain

For you’re convinced that to deny it is your bane
and if you’d just build it up it could be the crane
that lifted all of us to a place where we could attain
a better state of mind and happiness could reign

It will not let you rest and never seems to wane
that’s the thing to share so all the world may gain
and have you to thank because you did not feign
that your truth idea joy was impossible to obtain

    • “from Gk. theoria “contemplation, speculation, a looking at, things looked at,” from theorein “to consider, speculate, look at,” from theoros “spectator,” from thea “a view” + horan “to see.” ” – dictionary.com

Sounds like a good label for a poet. 😀 Thanks!
