The posings of a poet.

By and Large

We each set sail usually in the face
of opposition
And our bark is battered and worn
by battles of attrition
The trick is not only to learn to sail
with
But also against what would relegate us to
myth
So set your sail not only to large
wind
But into the gale that progress would
rescind
And mark out the fathoms of your
soul
By sailing free with or against what would make you
whole
